Visit the Krakow mounds
Krakow mounds is located in Podgorze District and offers a panoramic view over Krakow city. The mounds are specially worth a visit if you want to get away from the crowds in the Old Town.
Tips: watch the sunset from the top of the Mounds. The view is at its best when the sky is clear.
Explore Podgorze
In the heart of Podgorze you can visit the stunning St. Joseph’s Church (location: Jana Zamoyskiego 2). It looks more like a Disney castle than a church. You can go here at any time of the day, and you will have the place for your self. A must-visit when in Krakow.

A day trip to Zakopane
Zakopane is the perfect one-day tour destination from Krakow, and is known as the Poland’s winter capital. You can take the local bus or choose from various tour operators. It takes about 2 hours to get there by bus or car.
The love-lock bridge
The love-lock bridge over the Vistula River is located between two popular districts: Kazimierz and Podgorze. The bridge is also called Father Bernatek Footbridge, and is a lovely place to walk or hang a padlock with your love.
Visit the terrace at the Music Academy
The cafe at Metrum Restobistro is located on the 6th floor of the Krakow Music academy. Visit the rooftop terrace for a stunning view of St. Marys Church and Wawel Hill. The perfect spot for breakfast or lunch, or just a coffee. A hidden gem in Krakow!
