Get ready to fall in love with beautiful Krakow. This city guide will help you find things to do, must-see attractions and contains my favorite places and recommendations.
Where to stay
If you stay near the Main Market Square (Rynek glowny) you can walk to almost everything. Some of the best hotels in Krakow Old Town:
- Hotel Uniqus Palace. This is my favorite hotel in Krakow and its located in one of the most popular streets, Florianska. This is right next to the Main Market square and you are right in the midle of everything. They have a beautiful spa under the hotel, with swimming pool and sauna. The hotel also has a roof terrace where you can enjoy drinks or coffee with view to St. Marys.
- Hotel Stary. A beautiful 5-star hotel with great location next to The Main Square. They have a spa and pool area in the basement, which is lovely after a long day of sightseeing and exploring.
- Vienna House Andel’s hotel is a 4-star hotel located just 9 minutes walk from the Main Market Square in Krakow. Its right next to Galeria Kraowska and perfect for shopping.
- Hotel PURO Kazimierz is located in the Kazimierz District (the former jewish quarter). This is a new hotel in a bohemian modern style. They have a in-house bakery, MAK & Bread, with delicious food. Perfect location for exploring the Kazimierz and Podgorze Districts.
